The nurse recounted a harrowing ordeal in which two men and two women stormed her bedroom without warning, forcibly injected her with drugs, and took her away as her children and nanny watched in disbelief.

She claimed she was taken without consent to a facility she described as a rehabilitation centre.

Susan wrote that her phones were confiscated, she was denied the chance to contact her family, and no official documentation or consent was presented during the incident.

What did Susan's family say?

TUKO.co.ke reached out to her nephew, MC Kamesh, who shared an exclusive audio recording of Susan narrating her ordeal to her sister, Priscilla Wanjiru.

In the audio, Susan alleged that her husband was behind the incident, stating that if he intended to make her suffer, he should simply walk away from her life.

She acknowledged having battled depression in the past but said she was on a steady recovery path, having even landed a media interview with an international outlet.

Susan suspected that her recent episodes of crying may have led him to believe she had relapsed, prompting him to order her forced admission.

However, she clarified that her emotional breakdown was due to overwhelming grief and flashbacks of her late mother, whom she missed dearly.

“This is wrong, and no patient should have to go through this,” Susan said in the recording.

Kenyans on social media have been deeply moved by the tragic incident and are now calling for justice and transparency surrounding Susan’s death.
