The father of two penned a teary message to his son, saying losing a child is the worst pain any parent could go through.
"A pain no mother nor father should have to go through. Never in a million years did I think I'd be making a post like this. Just one month after your first birthday.... I was so excited for the plans we made. Life won't be the same without you. My heart aches for you, baby boy. Mama and Bada will always keep your name alive. Long live you baby my sweet Mateo Kariuki.. my second-born.. my sunshine. My soul. Just gone. Life doesn't make any sense right now, but that's ok... I guess this is just a part of the journey God has in store for me. I may not understand now, but I need to be stronger than I ever thought I could be for my son. For you, Mateo. Baba will come find you in every dream I have.. please come find me. Just hug me one more time.. It's forever your world. I'll always be looking for you in the stars and in the crisp views of the sea. My angel, please rest in peace," he wrote.
Mwangi's wife also shared the last video of their son playing with his eldest brother in their cosy living room, with her dancing in the background.
