KK Mwenyewe's Sister Breaks Down Eulogising Comedian Ahead of Burial: 'We'll Miss You Deeply"

Budding content creator Zakaria Kariuki's alias KK Mwenyewe's sister has moved mourners with a touching tribute at her brother's burial in Lari Constituency.

KK died while undergoing treatment at a Level 5 hospital in Kiambu, leaving Kenyans in shock with his untimely death.
His best friend, Kafengo, who was with him, narrated that he died by his side while they waited to get treatment.
At his burial, many had speeches about how the comedian impacted their lives and what they would remember him for.

What did KK Mwenyewe's sister say in her tribute?
His younger sister broke down as she eulogised the comedian, and shared how much she was going to miss him.
At one point, she could not finish her speech, forcing her to pause before continuing with her speech.
She said:
"KK, you were our force, creative, genuine and full of life. You inspired us to dream bigger. Create fearlessly and stay true to ourselves. In every way, every skit, every laugh, you left your mark. You were not just a content creator, you were a brother, a mentor and a friend. We will miss you deeply, but your voice and mission will live on through all of us. Rest in peace."
She was then held as she cried, with the MC telling her sorry while a lady was patting her on the back.

What happened at KK's burial?
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that drama ensued as the youth started heckling Dennis Itumbi when he began addressing mourners.
They kept shouting anti-government slogans as they channeled their frustration to Itumbi, who works for President William Ruto's administration.
It took the MC and others around to calm the crowd down before the burial eulogies and speeches continued.
What did Priscilla Wa Imani say?
Elsewhere, content creator Priscilla wa Imani lectured politicians for giving out money, yet they did not bother to interact with KK when he was still alive.
This was a day after Itumbi listed the different politicians who contributed towards KK's burial.
The president offered KSh 1 million to support the family after it emerged that the burial was set to cost KSh 3 million.
Others who also channelled contributions included Governor Susan Kihika, Lari MP Kahangara Mburu and Kimani Ichungwa.

What was KK's last message?
At his burial, the family played KK's video where he called for good leadership and accountability in the country.
His message was a call to leaders who were present to ensure that they serve those who elected them in office
After the video played, mourners clapped to honour KK, who not only entertained but also spoke on ills in society.
