Kiambu: A video has emerged of comedian Zakaria Kariuki, alias KK Mwenyewe's best friend, Kafengo, saying goodbye to him at his burial.

KK was buried at his mother's home in Lari constituency with friends and celebrities travelling far and wide to give him a decent send-off.
His best friend has been part of his journey since he started having stomach issues back in 2020, and he revealed that he died beside him in the hospital.
How did Kafengo bid KK Mwenyewe goodbye?
In a video now trending on TikTok, Kafengo, dressed in all black, was captured helping the pallbearers lower KK's casket into the grave.

As the body was being lowered, Kafengo tapped the casket as a sign of saying goodbye to his buddy, leaving many feeling sorry for him.
He then squatted as he watched the body get to the ground before standing and holding onto the flower wreath.

What did Kafengo say at KK's burial?
Kafengo was among the people who had a chance to address mourners, and when he stood to speak, he could not articulate the words.
He noted that he had no words to say, leaving mourners sympathising with him for losing his closest friend.
Videos left many sending words of comfort to him and encouraged him to be strong as he braces life without KK.

Little-known Pauline, KK's girlfriend, made her first public appearance during his memorial event, held at the Blue Springs Hotel on Monday, July 21.

During the comedian's burial on Wednesday, July 23, Pauline was among the hundreds of mourners who showed up.
Pauline wore pitch-black trousers, a white t-shirt, and a black jacket to the event. The heartbroken lass painfully mourned KK. She paid a glowing tribute to her boyfriend, describing him as a loving and kind friend.
Pauline struggled to speak, and when she had just started talking about their relationship, she was overwhelmed by emotions and broke down. She was escorted back to her seat, and she wiped her tears.
During the burial, several family members and friends, including Pauline, threw soil in KK Mwenyewe's grave.
