Popular Nairobi businesswoman Shiquo HiiStyle has made a generous promise to the Harambee Stars players.

She shared her plans to offer them exciting gifts if they win the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) tournament.

The tournament, which is being held across five venues in four cities in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, began on Saturday, August 2 and will conclude on Saturday, August 30.

Harambee Stars are currently leading Group A with seven points from three matches.

They are set to face Zambia on Sunday, August 17, at Kasarani Stadium, and a victory would guarantee them a top finish in the group with 10 points.

This would further strengthen their campaign and move them closer to securing a place in the knockout stages.

How will Shiquo HiiStyle reward Harambee Stars players?

In a show of support for the team, Shiquo HiiStyle promised to reward the players with luxurious gifts if they go on to win the tournament.

"We are gifting Harambee Stars. I trust you so much. I know you will win against Zambia. If you win the cup, mark my word, the starting eleven will get a double-door fridge," she said in a viral video.

Additionally, the businesswoman pledged to gift 75-inch TVs to those players who don’t start in the final but still play a part in the team's success.

"The way it is, 11 of them. Then there are those players who will be warming the bench; I will gift them this 75-inch TV. Mark my words, I will gift you these if you win the CHAN 2024 cup. I'm not talking about the Zambia match, I mean winning the cup," she added.

Shiquo’s gesture comes on the heels of a similar promise from President William Ruto, who also pledged KSh 2.5 million to the Harambee Stars if they win their upcoming match against Zambia.

With both high-profile figures showing their support for the team, Harambee Stars have a strong motivation to give their best in the tournament and secure a victory for the country.

Have Harambee Stars advanced to quarter finals?

As reported earlier, Harambee Stars qualified for the CHAN 2024 quarter-final after DR Congo knocked Angola out of the tournament.

The Leopards won 2-0 thanks to two second-half goals from Jephte Kitambala and Kalou Mokonzi.

DR Congo will now face Morocco on Sunday, hoping to secure a spot in the next round.

However, some fans noticed that Bahati had not yet followed through on his promise, and the pressure quickly mounted on the singer to honour his commitment.

In response, Bahati clarified that he had been unable to access the players after the match due to the strict rules surrounding the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 tournament, which restricted access to the changing rooms.
