Did Rayvanny exit WCB?

Rayvanny parted ways with Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) Records in July 2022 after six years under the label. He went on to establish his own record company, Next Level Music.

During his exit, he expressed gratitude to Diamond Platnumz for playing a key role in his rise to fame. The musician had to pay a substantial fee to terminate his contract with WCB.

In the video that fuelled speculation about a feud between them, Rayvanny was seen extending a hand towards Diamond, but Diamond appeared to snub it.

This led to rumours that the two were not seeing eye to eye.

In an interview on Wasafi FM on Thursday, August 14, Rayvanny put the rumours to rest. He explained the context of the video while dismissing claims of a feud.

“My videographer has the full video. Diamond came to the table because of me. He first greeted me and went on to do the same for the young people next to me. It may have seemed like he didn’t greet me, but he actually started by shaking my hand.”

Rayvanny further explained that if there were any issues between them, Diamond would have handled them differently.

“It wouldn’t have gotten to the point of him snubbing my handshake. That can never happen.”
