Oscar Sudi Congratulates KSh 1.5m Winner of Timba XO's Pool Contest: "Brought Immense Pride"

The Timba XO International Pool Carnival 2025, organised by Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi's Timba XO club, brought together some of the finest pool players from across the region.

The competition featured both male and female categories and it was a fierce one to say the least.

The carnival was filled with exciting matches, attracting top-notch players eager to claim the prestigious title.

After a series of intense games, Escha Chimwada emerged as the champion in the male category.

Sudi took to social media to celebrate Chimwada's achievement.

The lawmaker praised the young man's grit and skill throughout the tournament.

He wrote:

“Congratulations, Escha Chimwada, on your spectacular victory at the Timba-XO International Pool Carnival 2025! Your determination throughout the tournament, culminating in your victory over Malawi’s Ginte in the final, has brought immense pride not only to your country but also to the billiards fraternity worldwide. Well done, champ.”

Accompanying the post were photos capturing the victorious moment, including Chimwada receiving a dummy cheque and cash prize totalling KSh 1.5 million.

The joyous winner was flanked by former radio host Andrew Kibe and Sudi, who shared the crowning moment.

In other news, Sudi pledged support for a young boy he encountered during the tournament.

The politician was deeply moved by Herbert Mukisa, known as Dynamite Kid, and showed great kindness and empathy.

He committed to sponsoring Mukisa’s education.

Sudi also shared several photos of them together, enjoying a friendly pool match at his nightclub.

Herbert appeared at ease in the MP’s company as they posed for pictures.
