Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, her kin, identified as George, said that Awuor is currently being held at South Rift Hospital due to an overwhelming medical bill that her family cannot afford.
Beldine has been grappling with kidney diseases and the family has been trying their best to get her the best care.
"Beldine had kidney issues, she was being treated there, but in May 6, she got admitted for head surgery because of a clot. She was discharged on May 23, and since then, she has been in hospital detention.
What is a blood clot?
According to the Cleveland Clinic, a blood clot is a semi-solid mass of blood cells and other substances that form in your blood vessels.
Blood clots protect people from bleeding too much whenever they are injured or have surgery. However, one may get blood clots for other reasons like having some medical conditions.
Whenever that happens, blood clots could cause symptoms and may be life-threatening.
