Nakuru MD Allegedly Caught in Hotel Room With Female Employee by Her Husband

This is after he was caught in a compromising situation by none other than the woman's husband, Duncan Mwangi.

Moment Mwangi caught wife with her boss

A police report shows that Mwangi, who had long harboured suspicions of an affair between his wife and the MD, stormed a local hotel after receiving a tip-off and found the pair together in a room.

The employee, who works as a customer care officer at the said company, is said to have been romantically involved with her boss for years.

Officers from the Free Area Police Post were called to the scene and took the lovers into custody at 11:26 pm.

They were held overnight and released the following morning.

How Mwangi learnt of wife's affair

Mwangi later filed an official complaint at the station, recorded under OB No 15/17/4/2025, citing infidelity and naming the man involved with his wife.

The scorned husband disclosed that his suspicions date back to 2013, triggered by odd call patterns and late-night communications between his wife and her boss.

“I questioned her, but she denied everything,” he said, adding that communication shifted to encrypted platforms like WhatsApp and messages were frequently deleted.

He further alleged that his wife's affair with her boss not only contributed to the breakdown of their marriage but also influenced the MD’s divorce.

The husband also alleged that his wife's professional advancement was a product of her relationship with her MD.

Mwangi's wife denounced their marriage

But the accused woman painted a different picture, saying she was no longer living with Mwangi and had moved into her own home.

She accused her estranged husband of emotional and physical abuse, detailing incidents including hair-pulling and assaults on both her and her father.

“Why is he still following me if we no longer live together?” she asked, further alleging that Mwangi was the one with multiple affairs.

She produced photographs she claimed were proof of his infidelity and recounted an incident in which she found another woman’s clothes in his car during a surprise visit to Naivasha.

The woman later gave birth, though Mwangi reportedly denied paternity.

Mwangi's wife has no plans for reconciliation

She also accused Mwangi of attempting to sabotage her reputation by alerting her employer's wife to the alleged affair.

A subsequent meeting between the two spouses led to a report being filed against Mwangi at Nakuru Central Police Station, accusing him of plotting to harm the MD.

Mueni said she is in the process of filing for divorce and has no plans to reconcile with the man she has been with since 2002 and married in 2015.

“When I finally decided to walk away from the marriage, he tried to paint me as the villain,” she said.

In a viral video, she tearfully shared the state of her home, showing missing items including the mattress and other essentials.

The woman lamented that their issues could have been resolved amicably rather than through abandonment.
