She took to her X account to give her side of the story, claiming that she was suspended because she refused to listen to Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen's response to questions about the Kware murder suspect, Collin Jumaisi.

"I was Jettisoned out of parliament for 20 days for I refused to listen and accept the flimsy answers from CS Interior explaining how they cannot and are not able to arrest the murder suspect who escaped from custody for allegedly killing women and mutilating their bodies and dumping them. If CS cannot arrest and deliver justice, what should civilians do?" Wamuchomba asked.

She further affirmed her commitment to relaying the questions that Kenyans have on the progress of the Kware killings case.

"Expunged or not, my question still represents the pain of many Kenyans. Who killed and dumped women's bodies in the Kware dumpsite in Embakasi?" Wamuchomba questioned.

Wamuchomba, who also happens to be a close ally of the former deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua, questioned how a prime suspect can escape from police custody without a trace.

"What is the Ministry doing about it? Is the case closed? Are victims being considered for compensation? After my 20 days of suspension from parliament, I will revisit," she said.

Did Wamuchomba walk out of Parliament?

Before being suspended from Parliament, Wamuchomba had walked out after Murkomen failed to give a satisfactory answer on the probe into the Kware murders.

Before she could fully exit the premises, National Assembly speaker Moses Wetang'ula called her out, terming it a total discourtesy while urging her to return to her seat.

Bold Wamuchomba clearly declined the order, prompting Wetang'ula to issue her a stern warning against playing gallery to the house.

Following this, the deputy majority leader, Owen Baya, called for disciplinary action against Wamuchomba.

He warned that her defiant actions set a bad precedent and should be addressed strictly.

What are consequences of Wamuchomba's suspension

Following her 20-day suspension, National Assembly speaker Moses Wetang'ula stated that Wamuchomba would be barred from accessing the Parliament premises and using its facilities, including the restaurant, the gym and the office.

The speaker questioned whom Wamuchomba would respect if she didn't respect him.

Was Falhada Dekow banned from parliament?

Previously, Wetang'ula had suspended EALA MP Falhada Iman Dekow from accessing parliament and its facilities for 90 days.

She was only allowed to enter the Parliamentary premises when delivering a written explanation of her involvement in a violent altercation.

This is after a video went viral showing Dekow and nominated ODM MP Umulkher Harun clashing in Parliament.
