How old is Lulu Hassan?

The news she read was about the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party. Raila Odinga and his then-deputy, Musalia Mudavadi, had differences, and the party was trying to resolve them.

ODM was attempting to settle on a presidential candidate, which led to the impasse.

In the second story, Lulu read about two councillors who were arrested for allegedly participating in armed robberies in Subukia, Nakuru.

They were accused of hijacking a truck headed to Kisumu, which was carrying construction materials at Salgaa.

The suspects intercepted the truck on a hill before taking control. Police confronted them and even fired shots into the air, but the thieves, who were wearing police uniforms, did not surrender.

The police eventually shot the tyres of the truck before apprehending the suspects.

“17 years later. Time flies, but memories last forever,” she captioned the clip.

Kenyans had mixed views, and Lulu took time to respond to some of them.

One netizen said that head wraps were banned back then.

“This nation has come a long way. Imagine scarves were prohibited in schools and some workplaces, including major stations. Alhamdulilah,”

Lulu responded by saying, “Worth the struggle though.”
